Planting & care 🌱

• Use well‑draining soil: garden soil mixed with sand/grit and organic manure (compost/FYM).

• Choose large pots (at least 12–16 inch) with good drainage, or plant along sunny borders with support wires.

• Water thoroughly but only when the top soil begins to dry; avoid constantly wet soil, which reduces flowering.

• Feed lightly with low‑nitrogen, high‑potash fertiliser or organic manure during active growth to boost blooms.

• Prune after each major flowering flush to remove weak or tangled shoots and shape the plants.

• After opening the box, gently remove the plastic cover.
• Do not remove the soil around the root portion.
• If the soil feels hard or dry, lightly spray some water.
• Choose a 4–5 inch pot with proper drainage holes.
• Add some soil to the pot.
• Place the plant in the center and fill the gaps with soil.
• Gently press the soil with your fingers to support the plant.
• Water slowly until excess water drains out through the pot holes.
• Keep the pot in a shaded area for the first few days.
• Remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
• For faster results, you may cover the pot with transparent polythene for a short period.
• Do not water regularly; water only when the soil feels dry.
• New leaves should appear within 7 days.
