- Variety: Combo of White Malay Wax Apple and Red Malay Wax Apple.
- Type: Grafted Plants/Trees, which are known to bear fruit earlier than seed-grown plants.
- Size: 1.5–3 Feet Height.
- Suitability: Thrives in warm, humid tropical and subtropical climates, making it suitable for cultivation across most of India. The tree is sensitive to frost and should be protected during cold periods.

- Culinary Use: They are most commonly eaten fresh as a hydrating snack, or used in salads and beverages.
- Fruiting: Mature trees are considered heavy bearers, with fruits typically ripening in the warm months.
Essential Care Guide
Sunlight Needs
- Exposure: The Wax Apple tree requires ample sunlight for robust growth and optimal fruit production.
- Recommendation: Choose a location that receives full and direct sunlight (at least 6-8 hours a day). In very hot regions, providing afternoon shade can be beneficial.
Watering and Soil
- Soil: Plant in deep, well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. An ideal soil pH is slightly acidic to neutral (around 5.5 to 7.0).
- Watering: Consistent moisture is essential, as this tree is not drought-resistant. Water deeply and regularly, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, and avoid waterlogging.
